"1st class service and excellent location."

My name is Harry Hay and my wife and I were there for the Grand National with friends. The accommodation was a Victorian house which the owner Karl had restored himself to a high specification. Our room was large and comfortable with lovely views, decorative fireplace and a large, spotless en suite. There was even a small kitchenette on the landing where guests could make tea and coffee and have use of the fridge. A nice continental breakfast was provided on a “help yourself” basis. Karl could not do enough for us, even taking me to find a chemist in the morning when I suffered a medical situation. He was extremely helpful with our travel arrangements to Aintree and for a lovely touch he served us a glass of “bubbly” before dropping us at the station. I highly recommend this accommodation which is extremely well placed for Aintree.

I could not fault it. It served our purpose extremely well and the accommodation was spotless. Karl was helpful and shared his local knowledge.
