"A gem of a place not to be missed!"

This is a gem of a place lots of history. I had a lovely room with sofas in a TV, a separate bedroom and bathroom. It was very reasonable. The next morning breakfast was in the tea room self with all the candles lit , absolutely beautiful I would go back again in a jiffy.

Lovely room. Free parking very close to accommodation. Superb shower. Great breakfast. Everything was ideal.

"We would recommend this small comfortable hotel."

A beautiful room, large, well equiped, quiet and very comfortable. We were able to have the room earlier than expected which suited our programme for the rest of the day. Karl was very considerate in assuring our comfort and extremely helpful in explaining the bus service into the town centre.

The breakfast was very good with plenty of fruit and yoghourt but we missed a slice of bread or toast with English marmalade.

Karl is an extraordinary host. He's been there for us from the very first moment and we found the thoughtful attention to detail in the whole house amazing. His place is one of the best I ever stayed in.

"Fabulous stay with a charming host."

What a gem! Gorgeous room with high end facilities, well presented, comfortable bed/bedding, soft towels and good shower. The room, well, the entire property was spotlessly clean and we were made to feel very welcome.

Nothing! Everything we needed was on hand, the breakfast was a good quality continental (cereals, yoghurt, fruit) and we really had no complaints.
