"It’s perfect for a short relaxing break"

Great view of sea, handy for town, good free parking. Good walking, good restaurants, easy to get into Newcastle and to Hadrian’s Wall, Cragside etc.

Struggle with that wretched key safe whatsit. Being old. And also having average age of 80 a handrail on the steps would be welcome.

"Great stay, perfect view!"

From booking to departure, everything was perfectly organised and Raymond looked after us very attentively. The flat was very clean and well equipped, the beds very comfortable, and despite the street directly in front of the house, everything was very quiet. The location is just great! Our favourite room was the bay window in the living room overlooking the bay - a dining area here would be perfect! Thanks to the parking permit, parking around the corner was very easy, nice pubs and cafés were within walking distance. The beach right on our doorstep was great, only the water was a bit too fresh for us to swim in ... ;) We would gladly book this flat again at any time!

Location could not be better, good sized rooms well equipped. Well stocked with essentials. Very comfortable beds, and although the property is on a main road the noise level was very good.

Small live TV only no streaming services such as iPlayer. Master Lock key safe was very difficult to use, also there was no printout in the property of information on the property. Had to use my mobile phone to read the document sent by email. Very difficult to read on a mobile phone and no way of printing it in the property.

"Little get away"

It was right on the sea front with a fantastic view from living room and one of the bedrooms

We found the traffic a little noisy when trying to sleep
