Loved how clear the video instructions were to take away the worry of finding the property. The overall interior was chic and classic with great city living views.

I can't think of anything that impacted my stay negatively, i have had an overall wonderful stay in the apartment.

The stay at this lovely apartment was perfect, I loved every minute of my time there. Location is super, located in the city centre - public transport (bus, tram), supermarket Tesco, cafes, restaurants, shopping destinations like ZARA and Primark, all are only a couple of minutes walk distance that were made our stay effortless and unforgettable. Main sightseeing of Nottingham Castle, the riverside, botanic garden near NTU make every stay enjoyable. The flat is well equipped, especially kitchen has smart appliances, and it's really spacious apartment when comparing to other UK apartments. Special thanks to the personnel for their prompt response to all questions! Next time I will stay at this lovely apartment without any hesitation.

Honestly there was nothing we did not like

The description and photos of this “spacious elegant apartment” (Bridlesmiths Lofts) may be deceptive and misleading. The complex is unsavoury, unsafe and presents risks in terms of personal health and wellbeing. The apartment too is disgustingly filthy. Upon arrival and for the entire stay, the security gate to the alley-way was unlocked and wide-open – no need for a code or key fob. The alley-way is full of human excrement, urine, faeces, vomit, condoms, used feminine hygiene pads, cigarette butts, vapes, drink bottles, rotted food stuffs, toilet paper, plus bins overflowing with previous Bridelesmiths Lofts tenants’ rubbish. Clearly this alley way has been in this state for quite some time – months or maybe even years. The apartment has the same tangy, toilet-like, sewer smell as the alley-way. Filth and excrement ingrained into the carpet by previous tenants. The “view” is of windowsills caked in pigeon poo. Bed barely wide enough for one person with same tangy toilet smell. Dust everywhere, crumbs on the benchtop and rubbish under the sink. Dining table sticky, shower mouldy, cups stained brown, oven and stove top brown and greasy, vacuum did not work, lounge stained with dribbles of goodness knows what. Each night gates and doors banging, people shouting, swearing and screaming - sometimes with loud “dance music.” Seemingly people engaged in alcohol, drug and/or other deviant activities. Best guess is that Bridlesmiths Lofts may double as a brothel. Property owner, “Stonehouse / Franklin Property Management” (Paul Dilks Contracts Manager) claimed it was not their responsibility since the alley way was shared by many. No cleaning took place. When we departed we had to walk and wheel our luggage through even more rain-soaked, soupy filth. Surely Stonehouse has a duty of care to ensure the health and safety of tenants. As well as unconscionable, and poor business practice, it is just a lousy way to treat international visitors.
