Location.

We arrived early in the morning, around 6:30. This was an unplanned booking. We tried to contact the hosts, but we could only reach them through the reception. They didn’t answer calls personally. We asked if it was possible to check in earlier than 2:00 PM, but they told us we would have to pay for an extra night, even though there were only 7 hours left until the standard check-in time. The hosts were not willing to make any exceptions, even though the room was available. We paid, checked in, and were immediately given a list of rules, including that we had to take out the trash to avoid cockroaches and that cooking was not allowed, even though there was a kitchen in the room. It also turned out that using the pool required an additional fee, and tickets had to be booked in advance. Later, I tried to do some laundry and left the washing machine running, but it leaked. The entire room and bathroom were flooded. We had to wipe everything up with towels because the water was everywhere. I messaged the hosts, saying that I hadn’t come here to work as a plumber and had spent the whole morning cleaning up. I at least asked for some extra towels. They didn’t acknowledge the issue with the washing machine at all—just brought two towels. Overall, the room was fine, but the service left much to be desired.
