Gilliflower 1 bedroom cottage at Trethwale Barns Holiday Home

Stunning accommodation, well-equipped, beautiful grounds. Love this place! I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Beautiful place to stay, well equipped and decorated in a modern, cosy, country style. The hosts were great with communication throughout and answered any questions quickly. We would highly recommend

very nice apartment with lovely furniture  fresh flowers and scones on arrival dishwasher with tabs provided  washingmachine oven and separate microwave fridge and freezer with ice cubes  cozy woodstove open able top windows in roof for cooling down friendly host, who solved a problem with noisy neighbors that where not respecting the rules very fast dogs allowed  very fast internet spacious separate shower and bath

Everything was spot on. Beautifully converted barn, immaculately clean, and cosy. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Very welcome touches, like cream tea on arrival, and hosts couldn’t do enough. Super dog friendly also.

A stunning little property! You open the door and just say WOW! It is spotlessly clean, very well appointed. Everything has been thought through so very well. It is spacious yet super cosy. The fittings, fixtures and equipment are first class. The bed is large and comfortable. Towels fluffy. On arrival we had fresh flowers, scones, jam & clotted cream. There were logs and kindling for the beautiful log burner. A pint of milk in the fridge. Tea bags, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, iron, ironing board, clothes line, pegs...and on and on...(We even had Easter eggs!!) Literally everything has been thought of! Karl the host was friendly and so helpful with suggesting local venues. We had a wonderful time here. Already planning another visit. 100% recommended from us.

We loved our break at Gilliflower, the cottage had everything we needed, really warm and cosy at night, beautiful gardens and beaches nearby. We would have loved some seating outside and we didn’t find the bed that comfy, but by no means did it spoil our stay. So quiet and peaceful, lovely owners who were on hand if we needed them. Really clean and well equipped, the sofa and chair were very comfy!

Wow. what a Stuning barn - so spacious, so cosy, with everything you need to make it a home-from-home. - the additional personal touches e.g scones & cream, logs for the fire, board games - show that Karl & Katie go above and beyond. Spaciousness of the property; all amenities, in the property, were of a very good standard; information pack regarding the property and surrounding area was comprehensive. Karl, the owner was extremely helpful, co-operative and friendly.

It was an effort to deal with the workings of the underfloor heating given the detail in the instructions - on what turned out to be several cold nights ! (We could have used the log burner but chose not to, given the lateness of our return to the property). Getting rid of the waste was not a particularly pleasant, nor an easily understandable, experience !
