Muy lindo el lugar y el edificio !! El desayuno abundante y rico! Muy recomendable!

No TV in any rooms we we're told after we checked in and was shown to our room. Cobwebs everywhere, stains on bedd, wallpaper coming off everywhere. My honast opinion is don't stay hear unless you have to. We never complained about it as when we was shown to the room we was told it was one of the best rooms they had 😭😭

Love the building and a good location

Room seemd like an older conversion but clean and comfortable with a good bed so wouldn't put me off overall.

Huge communication issues with evening meal. We was offered the bar menu which consisted of breakfast menu. Sausage and chips and chip barm ect. Only to be promised a evening meals during the day promising the chef would cook us something to our taste. So we booked the table late on in the evening only then had to panic book at table in Lancaster. We really just wanted a relaxing evening for a ladies break from busy family life and I booked it for my Friends 40th so I was really embarrassed. Unfortunatly i also had to ask for tables to be cleaned both evening and at morning despite the table set up ready for breakfast. Only one light bulbin one of the bed side lights.. No TV in the room. . Bathroom tiny so no privacy changing despite it being a twin room. . Pipe work noisy. Impacted on our sleep. Beds were comfy and pillows nice. Bedroom decoration need updating Very disappointed

Zimmer roch muffig, Mini-Badezimmer mit Waschbecken im Zimmer, nicht im Bad. Angekündigten Abendessen fiel aus, da der Koch Feierabend gemacht hat.

It’s a beautiful old castle, full of historical features, very nicely decorated and traditional in feel. Set in gorgeous countryside within a golf course.

The way round the back of the castle where you park is a bit scruffy, just needs some maintenance and a tidy up. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the en suite was rather dated but was clean and worked well, and for the price was acceptable.

Quiet location with easy access to Lancaster via taxi, rooms are simple but comfortable. The place is basically a mini castle / keep and the breakfast was the best I'd had in a hotel for a long time, we'll definitely stay again

After hours you have to enter through a separate entrance using a key code, unfortunately someone had not set the lock properly and we were locked out for over an hour until I managed to force my way in. There is no way to contact staff inside. I'm sure this was not normal, don't let this put you off.
