The Old Post Office, Knaresborough

This has to be one of the cosiest places I have ever stayed. True home from home. Hosts have thought of everything you could need and more. Unfortunately it rained all the time we stayed so we did not get to use hot tub or garden. We 100% want to come back in the summer to make most of outside space. It is 5 min walk to nearest pub for food/drinks. Lots of info is also left for you if you wish to order or find a café etc.. Abut 20 min walk into town and can be very steep in parts. I got my exercise in that day. The hosts do provide you with parking permit if you would prefer to drive into town. Place is super per friendly and everything was already provided for our pooch (blankets/beds/bowls/treats. Could not recommend this place enough. Its delightful.

A little distance from town if you are walking- it’s quite a workout up and down the slopes!

So much thought had been put into making sure we were made to feel welcome, by our host. A beautifully designed space. Thank you 🙏😊

Nothing to not like.

The owner had thought of absolutely everything from shower body wash to doggy bags and treats! The welcome bottle of prosecco, chocolates etc etc were really appreciated and made a lovely addition to an already beautiful and charming stay. The living area is large enough, the sofa is very comfortable, the bedroom kitchen and bathroom are small but very cosy. The outdoor space is like a little retreat on its own. Highly recommend if this kind of accommodation is your cup of tea.

Apart from struggling to find somewhere to keep our suitcase there was nothing to dislike.

We loved our stay at the old post office. The location was perfect and the accommodation was so cosy and comfortable! They even have sky TV! It was very dog friendly too, with the enclosed garden and dog treats, bowls and poo bags provided! The owner is very generous. We were left a bottle of fizz, biscuits, choccies and a bottle of milk! It was spotlessly clean too and the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need. I’ve never stayed anywhere before with so much attention to detail! There were candles around the place and pretty twinkly lights. The bathroom had a huge selection of bubble baths, soaks, shampoos and body moisturisers! Honestly it really is home from home xx

The only downside was the shower over the bath is quite low due to the low ceiling and there isn’t much room if you’re on the taller side. However the large bath is wonderful!

A beautiful, cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped place to relax and recharge. Tranquil garden and excellent hot tub. Debbie is an excellent hostess. Didn't want to leave. The garden has lots of seating areas and perfect for dogs.

Nothing
