"A little bit of piece in this crazy world we live in"

9.0

Location is great - parking outside , very trustworthy owner leaving keys in a safe place and lots of nice touches , biscuits chocolates bottle of fizz and all of your brewing up stuff provided , used the hot tub on one of the nights but on the 2nd night we were too tired after a trip to Wetherby ( bus stop right outside of a accommodation) Wetherby is a lovely stroll by the water and nice food also , had a walk into Knaresborough up and down the hills etc , would definitely stay again

Nothing to complain about , we just put our feet up and enjoyed it

The flat is adorable, the garden is like a secret fairy paradise. There is any facility that you can think of. The bath and hot tub are phenomenal. Even if you want to just relax at the flat all day you can because the host has thought of everything you could possibly need! The walk into Knaresborough is on a steep decline and incline but it's not too bad with your walking boots on and all the main attractions for Knaresborough are within walking distance.

Leaving. The bed is so comfy we could have stayed so much longer. The only thing that was slightly annoying is the shower curtain around the bath, if you are a little bit bigger it tends to touch you but I understand why it's like that with the spacing.

"A lovely oasis in a heatwave"

9.0

I recently stayed in this lovely property with my dog. It was during our 3rd heatwave of 2025 and when we arrived it was 30+ degrees! Upon off loading our luggage we were met with an OASIS. The property is below street level and is surrounded by mature trees and plants. It’s shaded from the midday sun and the temperature dropped considerably. I poured a glass of the welcome Prosecco and got my book and ‘chilled’ out for the rest of the day. Debbie is the loveliest person and the attention to detail is greater than most places I’ve stayed. If you love candles and fairy lights, this place is for you! Very dog friendly with treats for my dog and me! As this place is very old and built in the olden days, the walls are thick and inside stays cool. It was literally like walking into air conditioning in the heatwave. The bed is very comfortable and I slept like a log. Less than 10 minutes walk to the stunning riverside walks. A bit of a walk up the hill to the town centre. Everything you could wish for and more. Thank you Debbie ❤️🐾

(No sad face just some points to note from a personal point of view) There were many plugin air fresheners when we arrived and I really dislike these. I unplugged them all and opened the doors and windows to let the best air freshener in ‘fresh air’. The gate to the private area has a bolt. However the bolt can easily be unlocked by reaching an arm around. I had an Amazon delivery driver when I was reading my book in the garden. At midnight I had the milkman opening the gate and it woke me up and I was scared it was an intruder! The property is next to a busy road. Where I live is very quiet and I don’t hear road noise so this was something I’m not used to. Although the place is a beautiful oasis, it wasn’t a peaceful oasis. Also you can hear everything up above, like footsteps and the TV. I still 100% recommend Debbies place and we had a lovely stay, thank you x

"Fantastic little hideaway with everything you could need to enjoy your stay."

10.0

Property is so well thought out, Debbie thinks of everything you’d need and more. From tea, coffee machine with pods, milk in the fridge and a welcome bottle of fizz and chocolate. Hot tub is a real added bonus.

Nothing to be improved on for me.

"Very nice cosy apartment with lovely outdoor space."

8.0

Good location with lots of walks nearby. Supermarkets also within 10 min drive and Knaresborough was walkable (or parking pass provided). Outdoor space was lovely. Hot tub looked very good but we did not use it.

Not a lot of storage space for suitcases and/or bags. Kitchen was well equipped but, again, not much storage space.
