The lounge, the heating, the space, the location, the building itself, and above all the very good service Pietro gave us!

The location near to the funicular was great. The arrangements with the keys was easy and flexible. Pietro who brought the keys also arranged a taxi for a very early departure. A good bed. Noices from the street were loud but fortunately the street was not busy or crowded.

The location is literally 2 minutes from the funicular stop that goes downtown. The building is beautiful. We spent New Year and were happily surprised how cozy warm the place was kept. Shower pressure good. Towels provided. Cloth washing machine good. Some niceties like coffee capsules and olive oil. Place was clean. Shower and WC awkwardly next to kitchen but good use of space. Place can not be made totally dark at night but that was ok for us.

Unfortunately, we found a lot of faulty issues, big and small. Totally deceived at the beds. The large one is too soft and the pillows are too large. The bed sofa was a huge disappointment: uncomfortable; bedding does not stay in place at all, you end up sleeping on the leather. What really ruined the stay: there was not enough bed covers for everyone. For 2 people sleeping on the bed sofa there was only a 140cm wide cover -which is individual size- had to be shared. When we noticed, we messaged the contact who told us to look under the bed: there was nothing usable there, just what seemed to be dirty linen. This was New Year's Eve and we never heard back from them again. We had the feeling the place was not given enough attention before our arrival. The reality did not honor the list of facilities as advertised. In addition of the missing bed linen, the place was badly stocked in essentials: there was just half a roll of toilet paper, almost finished roll of kitchen paper, only one rubbish bag, shampoo container empty, not full sets of cutlery, cups, glasses, plates and some of them not very clean or broken. Some things were malfunctioning: the boiler dripping water on the kitchen floor, the kitchen extractor did not seem to work, the hair dryer did not blow hot air. The furniture in the place is not sufficient for a comfortable stay of 4 people, as there is no storing place, nor night light, near the bead sofa. The bedroom could do with a proper furniture instead of a space behind a curtain. The pictures shared do not correspond to reality 100%: there was only one table in the dinning space, the rubbish containers were not labeled, there was no toaster (replaced with a sandwich grill), one of the paintings is missing. There is not a single lamp shade to any of the ceiling light bulbs, making the lights very bright. All in all, a lack of care that ruined the experience.

Exceptional service and beautiful place, we had everything what we needed for the stay !
