Traditional authentic feel, but with modern facilities. Excellent location at the top of the funicular and just off the Main Street in Bergamo.

We booked for four adults and whilst we knew that 2 would be on a sofa bed, the sofa bed doesn’t work great as a bed as the bedding doesn’t stay on properly. It was fine though for a short stay.

Self catering. The location was good.

There were two high concrete steps down from the bedroom area into the rest of the apartment. Definitely unsuitable for anyone with minor disabilities or the elderly. Quite a problem when needing to visit the toilet in the middle of the night. A handrail would definitely benefit everyone. Disappointed that there was no real view from any of the windows. The bedroom had a high window and was the only one with any reasonable light filtering into the apartment. The living room windows were opaque and opened out onto darkened courtyard. Unfortunately we lost the key to the apartment and felt that a 50 euros fine for the replacement was somewhat excessive.
