Joannes Retreat, Dog Friendly Property in Weymouth with Free Parking

Apartment was well kitted out, there were lots of lovely touches to make it feel extra homely. Coffee and breakfast station was a favourite. Beautifully kept garden was a welcome bonus.

The apt is just beautiful and very comfortable. The host has certainly gone the extra mile in adding extra touches to make your stay special. It is on a main road but we did not hear any traffic and the bedrooms and dining area is at the back which is very quiet. The back garden is gorgeous and very peaceful. The bed was so comfortable! The care takers are a lovely couple who go out of their way to ensure your stay is a good one. A lot of love has gone into making this property a home away from home. I felt it cared for staying here. There is also a gorgeous pub in a very pretty location a 10 minute walk away And the walk is nice too!

Excellent location, and the apartment was a home away from home, very clean and cosy. The milk and the biscuits were very much appreciated, especially after a very long journey, and all I wanted was a cup of tea! Will definitely be recommending Joanne's Retreat to friends and family, and we will definitely be booking again.

Nothing all was perfect.

The property was comfortable with lots of nice touches. The decor is tasteful and stylish. The bedding was lovely quality and the towels were gorgeous! The courtyard garden was a lovely suntrap and really very well maintained. All in all a lovely place and we would stay again.

We didn't like that there are no privacy window dressing other than the curtains, which you dont want to close during the day. The property is overlooked and the residents upstairs, although very nice, do walk closely past the window back and forth to their own property. Although they didn't look in, it felt intrusive and we couldn't just hang out without being conscious of it. Some privacy blinds or voiles is all that is needed and wouldn't ruin the looks at all.

The apartment was beautiful, really clean, had everything that you would need and lovely little touches to welcome you. Great location, next to a really nice pub and fish and chip shop, really close to Weymouth and a short drive away from Durdle Door. Owners very friendly and accommodating, would definitely recommend staying here!
