The layout, room sizes, bathrooms and pool were really good. Filtered, chilled water provided free and kitchen quite well supplied for food prep if you wish. Staff were quick to respond to any queries, with several menu choices for breakfast, which they will serve at your choice of time.

The location was very noisy at night, with dogs barking a LOT and neighbours shouting. The staff are there to cook breakfast and clean, so privacy is limited in the early morning. Lots of new construction going on that road, so the road surface is terrible.

Our stay didn’t start very pleasantly. After check-in, we experienced electricity blackouts every 20–30 minutes. We had to switch it back on manually each time, which was extremely frustrating. After several “recovery” attempts, we told the property that we couldn’t stay under these conditions. The manager arrived promptly and offered to move us to another villa. Since it was already 10 PM, we didn’t have many alternatives. We were relocated to Villa Sode in Balangan, which was amazing. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. They prepared breakfast for us every morning, and overall we had a much better experience there. The villa was clean, AC worked well in each of the rooms, the pool and the pool area were great.

In the master bedroom, you can hear a rooster from around 3 AM. My friend struggled to sleep during the entire stay because of this. There was also ongoing renovation work at the villa. I don’t understand how a property like this can be rented out while under renovation. There were workers around during the day. It didn’t bother me too much, but I don’t think this is the right way to host guests.

Great pool, rooms, aircon, and staff. Overall very nice place with a lovely vibe.

Location was slightly too far out for my liking. I like to be in the middle of town so that I can walk everywhere. This is about a 15 min drive from the main area, not far but further than walking distance.

Our stay at Villa Jonsu Uluwatu was truly delightful. The villa itself is serene, beautifully maintained, and offers the perfect setting for a relaxing escape in Uluwatu. There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay, the power occasionally tripped off, though the staff had clearly explained what to do in such instances. It required a quick manual reset outside, which was easy enough and did not disrupt our experience. Additionally, the air conditioning briefly stopped blowing cool air, but upon informing the staff, the issue was promptly and efficiently resolved. A special mention goes to Muli, whose attentiveness and warm hospitality greatly enhanced our stay. He was always available, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that we felt well cared for throughout our visit. Overall, Villa Jonsu Uluwatu combines comfort, charm, and exceptional service. Despite the minor hiccups, the staff’s professionalism and responsiveness made all the difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Uluwatu.

Spacious, clean, nice pool and huge living area.

Location was ok but walking to shops and restaurants was hard because of remoteness and then busy traffic on main road.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, such a pretty stay especially with a number of people, pool was lovely and breakfast selections were so yummy! Highly recommend.

I personally think the smell of the bathroom could be better, though it was bearable.
