Staff who have been their for years are exceptional. Newer staff are ok

Lost most of it's charm. The new buildings are so noisy now the hotel is surrounded by bars pumping out loud music at night. Beds in the old rooms could do with an upgrade. After 25 years of staying here, time to find somewhere else to.stay in Kathmandu

Location was excellent.

We unfortunately had an experience where the sheets were dirty and the maintenance had to enter our room repeatedly after midnight two nights as the power access was in the room. There was no compensation offered or a follow up email even. This was a bit disappointing and dint seem in line with the rest of the hotel facilities and service. Perhaps it was Christmas season staffing.
