Lovely surroundings, comfortable room and pleasant staff. Really good value for money.

Staff all really helpful and friendly. Room was brilliant (1a). Spacious. Clean . Bar, restaurant, food all really good. Breakfast amazing.

Odd drain smell in bathroom which seemed fade by morning. Not pleasant . Bring a light and mirror because you can't see to do makeup.

The fact that there was a wedding and other events on each day of our stay meaning that what we anticipated would be a peaceful stay wasn't quite what we had hoped for. The fact that the patio accessed via the door from our room led straight onto the communal area meaning that other guests mistook the door into our room to be the way into the hotel...needs to be a much clearer distinction between the communal area and the patio for the room. The noise from the event in the tepee during the evening. There was a lovely wooden adventure playground but this had been built infront if our room and, therefore, the sounds of this playground being used further diminished from the quiet, relaxing sound of nature that we were hoping for.
