Location, friendly helpful staff. Exceptionally clean.

Cracked sink and toilet pull handle in bathroom. Sofa and mattress not very comfortable.

Stayed in one of the lakeside cabins really beautiful place with lovely views of the lake.

Nothing to dislike

The setting is incredible, the lakeside lodges were beautiful, overlooking the lake and with a spa bath on the balcony. Great restaurant and lovely to sit outside after breakfast admiring the gardens.

The entrance of the property was very dangerous

It was in a great location as so peaceful we saw plenty of wildlife and loved hearing about the history of the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming in particular the breakfast staff!

The only downside was that the room wasn’t bright enough and felt a little claustrophobic but just because the windows were quite small - not taking away from the fact the property and rooms were beautiful!

13amp Socket locations for tea/coffee making. Slightly more wood for stove would have been good. Shower and toilet facilities lacking quality, let the experience down slightly.

I stayed in a lodge and I loved it, so peaceful. The outside bath was amazing. The stylish bar area was a real treat. Everywhere in the grounds was manicured and attractive. The food quality was very good indeed.

Need to keep the sliding door windows at the lodges very clean otherwise it really does look awful. If there is going to be a charge for dogs make a proper effort. Drop the dog gift that’s a bit of a waste as the treats aren’t good quality and 2 poop bags is just not worth the effort. Instead make sure there are 2 metal bowls, a dark coloured towel and a packet of good treats.

Breakfast was superb. The location was perfect we loved everything about it and will be back next year.
