Stunning estate. For the price we could not complain at all!!

There’s much we didn’t like! Maybe some privacy in the pole barns but that would be all!

We had a great weekend. We booked one of the Yerts because that was all that was left. Who knew that we would actually love it. The Yert was very clean and in a great location and came with a log burner. The Lady on reception was excellent and very pleasant and actually took the time to take us down to the Yert to show us the way and explain where everything was.

The loo paper could be better quality for a place this nice.

Great location for exploring. Decor fabulous with lovely bar area. Staff in the dining room were helpful, polite and friendly.

Uncomfortable bed with duvets that needed replacing.

Lovely grounds, nice modern rooms (we were in one of the pole barn rooms), great wedding venue with good food

Lacking air con which made the rooms very hot at times even with the bathroom windows open which were the only windows in the room, bed was a bit noisy in our room and the toilet must not be fixed securely to the floor as this was also noisy and moved when sat on. I wouldn’t normally be so critical but after being charged £234 for one night I expected a little more

Showers needed a science degree to turn on. Why does it have to be so complicated ? Dinner in the restaurant was very good ,but small portion sizes . The dessert ( parfait)in particular was laughable. No towels in my room upon arrival. Bathroom radiator would not turn on - again,why put in equipment without instructions ( two taps at each end - we couldn’t work out how to turn them on ) . Also,we are not fans of bloody dogs in restaurants - why the English indulge this practise I don’t know .

Beautiful hotel and grounds, clean and well maintained. Staff helpful, restaurant food exceptional (try the seafood linguine). Well positioned to explore the local area.

Not really something "I didn't like" but we stayed in the Garden Cottage "Ottilie", lovely and private. The only things that would improve it would be the bathroom window doesn't open so can't "air it" after showering and the heated towel rail didn't warm so towels couldn't dry.

Room was lovely in the Poke Barn. Very modern and had everything we could possibly need Food in the Orangrey was outstanding. Quite expensive but worth every penny.. The grounds were immaculate with ongoing planting of trees etc will only enhance.

Would benefit from a make up shaving mirror but that's a minor detail.
