The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate

Lovely setting . Considering we booked last minute it was a good stopover.

Room was rather cool and we couldn't get heating to work. My husband was disappointed there was no real ale on tap. Breakfast was included but the majority of items had a supplement to pay which is off putting.

Good location for an event I was attending and rooms styled beautifully

Selection of food and beverage needs refreshing . Breakfast buffet cold selection ,,very limited and when you have paid £309 for a room per night shocked at £2 charge for oat milk in my coffee - very strange and misplaced logic . Also expecting young waiters to deliver that messag On the bar selection , especially at house bars , need to have a look at gin and tonic ranges for example and more premium products , as the place is positioned as contemporary and upmarket which it is , but not sure the F&B works

The location was lovely and our room was beautiful

Grounds amazing and dinner very good

We stayed in a Pole Barn room. It was quite small and compact but bed was very comfortable
