One of the nicest, most luxurious places I have stayed in the UK. In a previous career I was team leader for an exclusive tour operator for India and the subcontinent. I looked for properties like this to use in our exclusive tours. Never have I come across anything that comes close to the ones I used on the Indian subcontinent. I was MORE than impressed with the hotel itself, the staff, the food, the surroundings and the story behind the hotel and its owners. I would stay again in a heart beat. And I will tell everyone that will listen about the Tempus!

Room was beautiful (103) very large quirky room with very long bathroom, double granite sinks and amazon shower. Amazing venue for a wedding which I attended. Food beautiful.

Excellent location. Staff great. Food really very good. Nice decor. Good style.

Thin walls so potential for noise. Beds could be bigger. And 10am is too early for check out in a Sunday.
