New Apartments La Condesa by VIATO

The property was clean and in a really good location near 2 parks, with coffee shops downstairs and restaurants nearby.

There was a safety hazard that caused a painful fall, but luckily it didn’t need a hospital visit. We informed the property, so we really hope they removed it as promised.

Komischer Geruch in der Wohnung - vermutlich Abgase durch darunterliegendes Parkhaus, starker Strassenlärm, Terrasse und unnutzbar, düster, Babybett und ausreichend Bettwäsche nicht bereit, obwohl vorher abgesprochen. Wir waren im ersten Stock, in den höher liegenden Wohnungen mögen die Punkte nicht zutreffen

1) Our information already with the reception when we arrive, and reception allowed us to put our luggages at the main lobby which we had quite a few and we were worried about security as we have important laptops that we cannot afford to lose. Reception insisted that it is safe as there are cameras all around. Would have been better if there is some kind of room to keep them rather than in the open lobby. 2) The nice thing here is the balcony view which faces the park so its refreshing especially in the morning to have coffee at the balcony 3) The wardrobe have good storage space 4) Kitchen is good and well stocked would be good to have a kettle as well. 4) Beds are comfortable, generally good beddings in aesthetic and comfort 5) Last but not least, the host is responsive, understanding and is helpful

1) It was not easy to communicate with the reception staff as she speaks no English at all. So we use Google translate but she is not able to reply us with google translate so it's a bit cumbersome. But we managed. She is kind lady though not initially friendly and could appear rather fierce at first. But after a while it's ok. 2) the fan in both the bedrooms are super noisy and loud that we cannot even cut the noise through ear bugs. Also it is one vertical direction, so had to turn ut away from blowing directly at us through the night. Given that there is no air con, would suggest that the host invest in a better fan? 3)The smaller bedroom is difficult as the only window opens to the internal courtyard that is visible to neighbours upstairs and downstairs, so very limited ventilation if you close the door 4) the master bedroom has strong morning/afternoon sun and heat up the room. Hence the fan is an absolute necessity. 5) it's a shame that there is no washer/dryer provided. There was a room with the tap but machines were dismantled. for vacationers the washer is very essential. We hand wash our laundry but there is no drying rack provided. If no machine the least is to provide a drying rack? 6) Power outage in the area, told it will take 1-3 hours but it was throughout the night till late afternoon the next day, only the second section of the apartment has electricity but not in kitchen, living room, no light in first toilet. No lift, so our groceries in fridge spoilt and we had to carry two large luggages down the 4 flight of stairs the next day. The host has kindly agreed to refund some compensation. But it does adds to much incoveniece even though its not the apartment fault

Spacious, clean, great location. 24 hr security.

Nothing. Only thing is say is we arrived at night and the ground floor of the building (painted blue) didn’t look like the picture that is on booking.com because the picture is of the floors that are higher (couldn’t see that past the trees in the dark) so we were quite sure we were at the right place. I’ve uploaded a picture of the facade.

The apartment is well situated if you’re interested in being able to walk to most places. There are a plethora of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops all within a 10-15 minute walking radius. The apartment also gave plenty of space to our group during our stay. I didn’t feel like we were tripping over each other or invading each other’s privacy. 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen keep the daily activities flowing smoothly.

The sofa bed is a little too small to accommodate an adult male.

I love condesa. But not here.

All. The apartments were uncomfortable. Lots of noise. No blackout curtains.
