Lovely surroundings

Bed was a little high.

Cottage was absolutely lovely. I had such a peaceful time there . Views around the cottage is breathtaking. Love every bit of it .

There was absolutely nothing there to dislike .

Gorgeous little hideaway in the cutest village; compact, well thought out with everything you need for a short break, plus some delicious treats too! The bed was beautifully comfortable with lovely bedding, the bathroom was tiny but had all we needed with a great shower, a bath for a treat and big fluffy towels. Lovely, helpful hosts, definitely recommended. It's a beautiful area and I'm planning to return, hopefully when it's not raining all the time but would advise for your own sanity take a paper map in your car! We got lost roughly 1000 times due to relying on Google maps with poor mobile service pretty much everywhere. Did a lot of exploring though!

Honestly, it was all good. I think if we'd been there more than a couple of days we'd have wanted a heated towel rail in the bathroom even though it was summer, as the towels were damp and I couldn't work it how to dry them short of draping them over the doors, but it was a minor quibble.

Good location for our needs.

Cold, the first night we had no heating , this was sorted for the second night.

The village is very beautiful, quiet and very relaxing, exactly the please we needed, the fackt that there wasn't tv made the place even more relaxing. The dog Loved the garden, he spend most of the time playing there.
