This property was honestly incredible, the pictures do not even do it justice. This is a hidden gem and would definitely recommend to others. It was calming, the staff were lovely, the food in the pub was amazing and it felt like we were in our own little bubble away from the world.

Honestly there was nothing that I didn’t like, however the key to the front door was a little hard to use however staff came straight away to help.

It was amazing. From the second we walk in we were amazed. Would definitely be staying again!

Only down side was the garden wasn’t cleaned up after the last guess. There was beer bottles lids on the floor , balloons and other party bits left around. But this did not hinder our stay at all!

The Lodge is located in a pub garden, you have to walk past the pub and the pub garden pods to get to the lodge, not a well kept pub garden either. I understand it’s not the summer season but the staff don’t even clear the glasses from the night before as when departing in the morning all the glasses from the night before left on the tables outside and in the pubs pods.

The hot tub wasn’t great, wasn’t very warm at all and contacted the owner after our stay and didn’t seem to bother as they said it was in working order. The shower in the second bedroom wasn’t great either red hot or freezing cold!

Loved the spaciousness of it and the bed was very comfortable!

We struggled to find the property. It is located in the pub however the pins take you to a different house. It would have been nice to have it in the instructions to find it easier!

We wanted to love this place but sadly it was style over substance and ruined our romantic evening for our anniversary. Such a shame as view lovely, right next to a pub and great size lodge. 

Hot tub cold and did not heat up despite two hours trying. Informed owner who advised we didn't follow instructions...we did. Gave up and had a bath instead but overflow not plumbed correctly, active water leak so bathroom flooded. Informed owner about this who advised they weren't aware but on arrival there was a neatly folded towel under the waste so this is questionable. Absolutely no ventilation in bedroom so a very hot nights sleep, no windows and only air comes from French doors which make you visible from pub garden. This could have been resolved with a cheap fan to allow some airflow. The whole place looks stunning as per photos but the reality is a very quick refurb with poor standards. Filler unpainted on walls, door trims not finished and hot tub/ bath not fit for purpose.

Perfect location, very comfortable accommodation, hot tub was fantastic fun. Pub literally a few feet walk with wonderful staff.

Wifi not great but not an issue. A bedside table/ shelf would have been great (there weren't any) as I think most people like to take a glass of water to bed & have their phone next to them. Didn't hinder the stay at all though & I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also no tea towel provided but again, not a deal breaker at all.
