"Lovely unique place and very well equipped"

10.0

A unique property with lots of character - we loved the artistic decoration. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The place was very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen area with a nice touch of providing milk, water bottles and a very nice coffee machine. It was in a private setting and very quiet which we really liked.

We could have done with a tea towel but we couldn't find one - not a big deal though. Otherwise no negatives.

I tried to think of something that would improve the accommodation and there wasn't anything. It was perfect.

Space and kitchenette. Wi-Fi. Plenty of sockets.

Odd TV. Hard to find address in the dark. Overhead shower - can’t avoid getting hair wet.

Totally self-contained at the bottom of the garden is a wonderfully quirky building with everything you could want, including a funky industrial style shower room. Lydiate Millicent is also a great place to explore, with its church, pub, and quaint village nursery. It is also easy to explore the Wiltshire area from here. On our to-do list was the white horse at Hackpen Hill, Swindon and Cricklade (the Tawny Owl pub is well worth a visit!) all less than 15 minutes drive away. The host, Parissa, deserves an extra special mention, as my queries were always answered promptly, and she even cooked our evening meal on our 2nd day ... and the curry we had was delicious!

Although the wifi was fab, the TV was a bit temperamental.

"Comfortable stay with some minor caveats."

8.0

I recently stayed at Relax and unwind at Windrush Lodge for one day and had a pleasant experience overall. The reception was friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. The garden house I stayed in was fantastic, featuring charming retro-style fittings that added a unique touch to the accommodation.

However, I did notice that the property differed from the photos posted online. This was a bit disappointing, but it didn't significantly impact my stay. I would recommend this property primarily to guests who drive, as it may not be convenient for those relying on public transport.

"Pleasant hide away"

8.0

Quiet self appointed little house at the bottom of the garden, could do with some better pictures as it was much nicer then they portray

It was a thin duvet and a little chilly as it was a cold weekend
