Relax and unwind at Windrush Lodge

Comfy bed, kitchenette, ideal location. Helpful hosts. Didn't actually meet them as I was at a family event nearby all day and evening so i just dumped my bag and returned to sleep (!) But excellent helpful communication prior to my visit and room ready before official check-in time. I have family nearby and others further afield and we will definitely come here for future similar occasions. Oh and the overhead light in bedroom was bright enough to read in bed, which is not always the case in other B&Bs.

Liked it all. Had a bit of trouble finding it initially and I wonder if a sign that could be read from the road would have been useful. But it wasn't a problem. Everything was good.

Superb location - very friendly and attentive hosts. The Lodge was beautifully presented -Very well equipped.

Very convenient for location as we have family nearby. Very private, spacious and comfortable and unique decor. comfortable bed, warm and cosey with all the comforts you could need. coffee machine milk etc - a warm welcome 😁👍

not a biggy, but no washing up bowl and couldn't see a sink plug, but this was a very minor point (we only stayed overnight so I'm sure this would have been addressed had we raised it). very little to be negative about.

The hosts were really nice and the location was great

Beautiful place with lots of character. Photos do not do it justice. Felt like we had our own space. Was perfect with our dog as well. Loves all the decor felt really homely. Great pub just down the road and lots to do/explore.

Could do with a microwave, internet was very hit or miss and mattress topper moved around a lot which was a little frustrating.

Bread butter and jam were much appreciated, and the space was much bigger than expected

The photos on booking.com aren’t photos of the actual place you stay, so it was a pleasant surprise, and bigger than expected. I’ve added photos to help others

Please remove the multi cooker and replace with microwave, would be much better
