Hayat Zaman Hotel And Resort Petra

Typical village completely rebuilt with 5 stars standards. I liked the Hammam and the traditional look.

The hammam should be included in the hotel price, which is not cheap.

Probably one of the most charming resorts I've ever been to. Originally the stone buildings of the local town converted into a warren of luxury, individual rooms. The furnishings are incredible and as warm and welcoming as the staff themselves. I cheated a little as I stayed here in 1994 but just had to bring my own family back 30 years later to share and enjoy it again. Views out over the mountains are incredible and the resort still feels part of the local town unlike nearby Wadi Musa that is the entrance to Petra and in my mind suffers a little from over development and a very "tourist" vibe. Highly recommend!!

Not so much a dislike rather than an FYI. This hotel is in the local town of At-Taybeh 10-15 minutes drive south of Wadi Musa where the entrance to Petra lies. As I've said above .. this means a quieter and more "local" feel to the resort but does mean you need to consider transport when visiting Petra. We had a hire car so that was our solution. But I'm sure there are buses & taxis available and I'm 100% sure the staff will help with the details :)

Super Unterkunft mit einem unglaublichen Blick in die Natur! Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und alles ist sehr sauber. Im Winter ist es warm genug im Gegensatz zu anderen Unterkünften. Wir haben kostenlosen Zimmerservice bekommen und haben Kosmetikprodukte und einen Obstkorb bekommen. Das Essen ist ein riesiges Buffett und sehr lecker

Leider hat einiges extra gekostet. Gerne lokale Getränke - zum Beispiel Matrix oder Kinza.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful Cleanliness was excellent, and the price was reasonable. The evening singer was amazing with a beautiful voice. Special thanks to the baker I believe his name was Khalil, who was extremely kind, helpful, and provided great service.

A few restaurant staff had uncomfortable looks at times, which slightly affected the experience.

My stay at Hayat Zaman Hotel & Resort was truly exceptional. The place has a stunning authentic heritage atmosphere — from the traditional architecture to the charming details across the property. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, giving a real sense of relaxation and history at the same time. Everything in the hotel felt carefully maintained and thoughtfully presented. I would like to give special thanks to Hamza Khalaifeh at the reception. His professionalism, warm welcome, and excellent assistance made my stay even better. He was respectful, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly from the moment I arrived. This hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, quality, and heritage. I highly recommend Hayat Zaman to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience. I will definitely return on my next trip!

The property was very nice and had all necessary amenities including a nice buffet selection.

Well if i had to complain about anything was people walking by our room very early in the morning talking and making noise, i was woken up a few times. Location is quite far away from petra site
