Winter Getaway - Prime Location - at Magic Sands Beach

The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The size of the apartment, as there were two of us, meant everyone had their room. There were both washing and drying machines, which made it easy to keep our stuff clean. The owner's responsiveness was on point, and he allowed us to check-in an hour earlier. There's a beautiful beach and a restaurant just a 2-minute walk away.

The owner's message before we checked out had excessive instructions on how to clean the apartment, and the tone seemed like a standard operating procedure for employees, which left a bad taste. It also left us wondering whether it has professional cleaners or whether the owner relies on previous guests to keep the apartment clean. Overall, the apartment seemed somewhat clean, which may confirm that cleaning is done on a relatively basic level. The neighborhood is somewhat dodgy, as neighbors fought on a few occasions, and junkies gather right accross the street (in front of the beach), so it didn't seem extremely safe. For about $400/night in April (it's probably more expensive during summer), you don't get much in return, so it may be better to book a hotel since your towels, sheets, etc., are changed daily, and the rest of amenities are relatively the same (unless you're into cooking, in which case, this apartment is a great option).

Perfect location. Right across the street to a really nice beach and restaraunt. The condo provided everything we needed for the week. It was really nice to have chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrella, cooler and more that we could use. Beautiful view from the very large balcony. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfy.

Super clean newly renovated condo with comfortable beds. Washer and dryer in unit. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location. Well supplied. We had stuff for the beach, snorkeling, cookware and small appliances. I never had difficulty getting to use one of the three grills.

Sometimes the guests by the pool were a bit loud. Voices carry. The conversations overhead were always friendly and full of laughter.

Spotless and brand new amenities that surpasses many Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. Host Gary is communicative and thorough with information. Location is right across from a nice beach—in fact, so close that you can just walk over in bathing suit. Wished we could have booked a longer stay there. Will certainly recommend this place to any friends!

Super minor—one of the bathroom trash cans didn’t have a liner, but that was it!
