GBI don’t know unfortunately I was informed at booking in time that the property had been damaged and we were unable to stay in it but in all fairness the lady who I spoke to was very apologetic and managed to find us alternative accommodation within 20 minutes very impressed by that

GBLocation ease of access clear instructions immediately cleaned with some additional instructions. Modern and beautifully appointed. Top floor with modern lift.
The mattress could be higher quality. Just would be more appropriate for the quality of everything else.

IEThe apartment is well located and very central. Access was easy. Decor is lovely.
On arrival eve 27th March all windows were open and heating on full blast. We were just dropping things off so didn't look closely. We replied to a check in msg from the owner, which we always do as a courtesy. That evening (with windows closed) we noted a damp mold smell in the hall towards the back. On the eve of the 28th we discovered that the carpet in the back bedroom was soaked on both sides of the bed. We laid towels which were immediately sodden. We contacted owners stating that it was a big leak and clearly an ongoing issue. Comms were disappointing. We were asked for proof and sent video. We stayed out of the property as much as possible. We received a thank you after checkout for leaving the property so tidy, but no recognition of the awful leak and impact on stay. I did complain, but the owner has pointed to my initial positive msg and blamed us for not reporting the issue immediately. We reported as we found but efforts had been made to mask the issue so we only found it when we stepped barefoot on soaking, smelly carpet on night 2. We were a couple, only using the 2nd bedroom in case of snoring! Owners seems to think it was our job to inspect. I don't. I think it was their job to ensure that the property was fit for letting.
