The price alot lower than the surrounding hotels in the area

The attention to detail in the room . 1. Floor level double electric socket only one side working. 2.a plug in aroma gaget very strong in smell for such a small single room 3. The top on the cold water tap was broken . 4. On my final morning pior to leaving I removed the quilt cover,sheet, and pillow slips only to find that the pillows had seen much better days aswell the quilt, and mattress protector, and finally the mattress itself ..all these items needed to be renewed. 5. The overhead lamp above the bed was exceptionally bright , and a warmer glow would be more appropriate. 6. information pack in the room would be of benefit, including a outline drawing of the facilities and FIRE corridors in the case of an emergency ( rather than a old piece of paper pinned to the door) 7. Complimentary tea bags seemed stale/old, and it's like they'd been put in a tray from out of a box.left bad taste in mouth. 8.first night there woken at 0200hrs ,Police / recovery vehicles in carpark ,lights flashing very noisy with chains etc.. 9. The blind in the window is smaller than the window it's self ,gives impression of a quick fix..

The hotel fee have been taken and no room was provided. l want to raised an official complaint for refund and compensation

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was close to the relatives we were visiting.

I received confirmation for the booking of 2 double ensuite rooms but later received a message from them to say they only had 1 double ensuite and 1 double standard with shared bathroom. We went ahead with the booking as it was only for 1 night. We have requested a refund for the difference in price but are currently still waiting for a response. We asked what time breakfast would be only to be told they don’t do breakfast on a Sunday because they have to prepare the carvery for lunchtime. The confirmation clearly said breakfast was available. When we came down to check out at 10am the downstairs was in darkness with no staff around except for the cleaner and another gentleman, and they both said they didn’t know what to do when guests were checking out so we just handed them the room keys and left.
