Stewart's Cottage, Aviemore Centre

Great location. Lovely living room area. Comfortable beds. Lovely selection of games/books. (Listography is our new favourite!) Very helpful to have salt, oil, etc. in the kitchen.

Arriving to a cold house due to lack of working central heating. Being told that the oil would be delivered on Tuesday, but it wasn't. Portable heaters were supplied, but we didn't feel it was safe for a child's room, or to leave on overnight. The mirrored doors in the main bedroom need some tlc.

Spacious living-room with a lovely wood-burning stove. Generally cosy and well furnished.

Bedrooms a little bijou. Not especially pretty from outside.

Very convenient for local amenities, cosy and comfortable.

The bathroom was a bit dated and the garden was overgrown. Perhaps some garden furniture, and a lawnmower, would be good. We had remarkable weather and could have taken advantage of the garden. It didn’t detract because we went to the pub instead!

Lovey family trip to Aviemore. Cottage was the perfect base camp for a few days in the area.

Garden could do with some tender loving care. Bathroom could do with an upgrade

The kitchen dining living room area was nice and there was plenty space in the main bedroom. Instructions for the heating etc were clear.

The wooden windows were very mouldy along the bottoms and the wood burners air flow didn’t work. The bathroom floor could’ve been cleaned more thoroughly. Toddler toilet seat being fixed to the loo seat was annoying hitting your back when you sat down. The owner lives in South Africa so the manager came to attend to the mould with a spray clean but if you have mould allergy this place is not for you. Lawn was not well maintained for sitting out in.

The range of conveniences. There was PS4, smart TV, WiFi, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, extra freezer.

The dishwasher wasn't working for most of our stay and the grass wasn't cut in the garden until our second last day. It also wasn't very clean. There was a lot of dog hair on the carpets and rugs.
