Well equipped and had everything we needed. The children’s books and teddy were a nice touch. It was also very comfortable and in a good location. We liked the fact you could walk straight into the woods from along the road.

It could do with a good deep clean and some maintenance. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs, and the fabric dining chairs were very stained. A lot of the doors wouldn’t close and the loo is very difficult to flush because the button is cracked. It would’ve also been nice to have some outdoor furniture. It was lovely weather but no ability to sit outside.

Plenty toilet rolls/ bin liners/dish tabs/etc. often have to buy more which is a pest as its things you dont think about

Comfortable, good location, well equipped, Peaceful. Warm once we had arrived...be good have heating on for guests before they arrive😀 took a while but by next morning great Would return😀

Bin full..perhaps have recycling bins in kitchen so guests sort and use correct bins outside . The general one was overflowing but looked like previous guests hadnt done any sorting.

We really liked the location tucked at the end of a small street, it was nice and quiet and only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the centre of Aviemore

The house had great potential and it was in a good location

the communication wasn't great to begin with. When booking I was told that a week before I would be contacted to know information on gaining entry etc. I had to message them the night before for this information. On arrival, the house was full of plug in electric heaters and we soon worked out why, the heating was broken. a man came midweek to try and fill up the oil but said the oil container was cracked and half full of water, which is why the heating didn't work. I think we should have been informed the heating was broken before we arrived and not expected to work it out. We had a young toddler and lots of electric and halogen heaters lying around aren't ideal. The washing machine also didn't work which we weren't informed of before arriving. The house wasn't dirty, it was clear it had been cleaned however it wasn't cleaned to a holiday let standard, more of a quick once over, it did need a deep clean. the place has so much potential, lovely house, cosy, ideal location but let down on communication and tidiness, both easy fixers.
