Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort

The resort has a beautiful beachfront location, spacious grounds, and a large pool area. The beach access is very convenient, and the overall setting in Nusa Dua is relaxing. All staff members were kind and helpful, and the breakfast had a good variety.

The room felt dated and musty, and there was an unpleasant smell from the air conditioning, which made the stay uncomfortable. For a Sofitel property, at almost $400 per night, the room standard was disappointing and did not feel as fresh or well maintained as expected. The resort itself has good facilities, but the accommodation needs proper refurbishment and better maintenance.

Our stay at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua was nothing short of exceptional and truly made our honeymoon unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality by every member of the team. The entire staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, cared for, and valued throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to Meity, who made an already wonderful experience even more memorable. We had originally booked a Luxury Room with a pool and garden, and she very generously upgraded us to a beautiful One-Bedroom Villa with a private pool. This thoughtful gesture transformed our honeymoon into something truly special, giving us the privacy, comfort, and luxury we had hoped for. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to May, who was absolutely amazing on the day of our departure. Since our flight was later in the evening, she kindly arranged for us to stay in one of the Luxury Rooms after checking out of our villa. This allowed us to relax, freshen up, and enjoy our final day without feeling rushed or having to spend hours waiting at the airport. Her kindness and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. Beyond the outstanding service, the resort itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers a perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. The facilities, pools, gardens, beach access, dining options, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Every interaction with the staff reflected genuine care and professionalism, making us feel at home while enjoying a world-class resort experience. Thank you to Meity, May, and the entire Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We leave with wonderful memories and look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly exceptional stay in Bali.

The staff are amazing

The rooms are dated. Ours sampled damp every time we walked in. Not 5 star at all. The food was always cold at breakfast (English breakfast). There is a 30%+ surcharge on everything.
