Good location. Easy communication and entry to property. Great potential

Honestly wasn’t very clean. The kettle needs descaling. The oven was all greasy inside. The skirting boards, walls and window frames have dirt marks on them, all the blinds were broken and unable to open fully. The downstairs toilet is only plastered, no paint or lights fitted. There were dirty water marks all over my tiles in the bathroom. The bed sheet didn’t fit the bed.

Location. Bathrooms were nice. Showers were excellent.

The dishwasher didn't work and was full of dirty dishes when we arrived. Crockery in the cupboards was dirty. Blinds were broken so couldn't open or close. The table was filthy in the pull apart section. Superficial cleanliness was OK but there was dust and grime in corners/ above doors. I found a filthy sock when I pulled the spare pillow out if the main bedroom drawers. It was freezing when we arrived and didn't warm up until the next day so we all had to wear jumpers to bed on the first night. Parking was difficult.

The location was super convenient, only a short walk from the beach and around 15-20 mins from Brighton centre. Some rooms included a sea view. The interior and exterior looked high end. First time staying in a four poster bed, which was super comfy. Added benefit of being pet friendly.

We received messages from the accommodation directly through booking.com, demanding a deposit be paid within 24 hours otherwise our accommodation would be cancelled. It was a scam! Days later the accommodation sent a further message to state their account had been compromised and to ignore any of the previous messages. It’s not the fault of the accommodation, it’s actually the fault of Booking.com, they’ve been aware of this for a few years now occurring at properties worldwide but have failed to take action to prevent this. It’s definitely something to watch out for when making bookings through the booking.com platform.

Em suite shower in downstairs bedroom did not work and constantly dripped.

The apartment on first impressions was gorgeous, it was well located and the stairs to the apartment were not an issue.

Where do I begin? One of the beds was broken, my shower tap fell off so I could not take a shower. Hot water was hit and miss. Biggest of all the dishwasher was full of filthy, stagnant water and the apartment stunk because of it. Looking back at previous reviews this was an ongoing issue that had not been fixed. Tap on the bathroom upstairs leaked. They did offer a partial refund because of all the faults. However, I have since found out that despite promising a VAT invoice after my stay, it turns out this is a lie. They are not VAT registered and even tried to produce a false receipt to fob me off. Fraud has been committed by themselves / booking.com and I will be taking further action
