Stunning Luxury 2 Bed Penthouse Apartment

Very secure check in with gated parking. Lovely host. Super comfortable beds with a great night sleep and a very spacious open planned apartment. Will most definitely be returning a shame it was only available for the night.

Convenient location, large rooms - very comfortable beds. Good facilties. Parking for 1 car. Good communication on day of arrival, met by Adam who was friendly, helpful and welcoming and patiently showed us the various codes and keys for entry to car park, building and flat. Secure and quiet apartment.

Some internal doors don't shut easily or well. Poor quality (knackered) fry pans. Not enough crockery (Plates, glasses) -possibly due to us not confirming total number of guests. The place was in mid redecoration and minor repairs due to damage caused from previous guests.

Great location

We had booked this property several months in advance and had specifically requested an early check-in, which was confirmed a few weeks prior to our arrival (screenshots available upon request). Based on this confirmation, we arranged our travel accordingly and arrived by train at approximately 12:45. However, upon arrival, we were informed that early check-in was no longer possible and were asked to wait for approximately an hour while the previous guests vacated and the cleaner attended the property. In reality, we were unable to access the apartment until around 4:30pm, which is even later than the standard check-in time. As two women unfamiliar with the area, waiting for nearly four hours was both inconvenient and uncomfortable. Had we been informed in advance of the delay, we would have arranged our travel differently. Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment upon arrival was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The property did not appear to have been properly cleaned. Issues included: Dirty and stained walls, particularly behind the toilet Stains on the living room ceiling Holes in the bathroom door and bedroom wall Missing door handles in the living room Marks resembling blood on drawers Thick mould around the shower Dishwasher containing dirty dishes Food left in the freezer from previous guests No tea or coffee facilities provided, only empty sachets Additionally, communication throughout our stay was very poor. When attempting to vacate the property, I made several calls to seek guidance on where to leave the keys but was unable to get a response due to the phone being off most of the morning. Overall, this experience fell far below acceptable standards, particularly given the prior confirmation of early check-in and the condition of the accommodation.
