Lovely location, this is a new build house, it’s not a cottage. Thankfully the weather was lovely so we were able to get out and explore Banbury and Bloxham.

The oven is dirty and doesn’t function well. I ended up sweeping the debris and oven chips out of it. Fridge could have done with a wipe down too. Kitchen could be better equipped- needs oven trays, roasting trays, grill tray, peeler, masher and cafetière. Surprising that the kitchen isn’t sufficiently equipped considering this is a 4 bedroom property so there could be up to 7 people eating in this house. The kitchen would benefit from basic items such as cleaning spray for kitchen surfaces, salt & pepper, kitchen roll and a proper kitchen bin. The carpet in the downstairs toilet is stained around the toilet, a little off putting. The Jack and Jill bathroom linked to the first bedroom doesn’t have a light switch from the bedroom side and the lock fell off in my hand! The pillow case was missing from one of the beds, we made do with a T-shirt. We weren’t given the correct code for the lock box so had to phone the owner, they answered immediately however but I’d recommend sending the correct code to your guests ahead of time.

Reasonable cost. Good situation and comfortable.

I think the downstairs toilet carpet needs to be replaced with lino. A kitchen bin with a lid would be good. I couldn't find a potato peeler or masher.

Very comfortable house in a good location, great base to explore surrounding area. Spacious, warm and clean.

A clean, spacious and warm family house close to M40 and pleasant village of Bloxham which has lovely pubs and nice dog walks

This is not a luxury property! The house, it’s not a cottage, lacks character and style. There were no Xmas decorations, not even a tree! We were here for a Christmas break and had real problems with the kitchen facilities. The oven was unreliable and the kitchen lacked essential equipment to make a Xmas lunch ie roasting tin, baking tray, serving dishes, potato peeler etc.

Very spacious and well equipped. Decorated and furnished well. We loved the large kitchen and the beds were really comfortable.
