Front beach, very good food, comfortable rooms

I stayed for one week in this little piece of paradise, and it did not disappoint! The property is situated on the beach, looking out to numerous surf breaks, which meant I could check the morning surf while enjoying a gorgeous smoothie bowl. It was easy to rent a bike and explore the neighbouring surf spots and towns — just be aware of the many 4x4 mining trucks that cruise around the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. I loved that the room had a mini fridge and complimentary water too :) For food, you have plenty of options, either within walking distance along the beach or just a two-minute bike ride away. I ate at the accommodation every other day and enjoyed the breakfast options, smoothies, and mie goreng. Other highlights included a very cool coffee shop (I can’t remember the name) two minutes up the road and Lisa’s Garden. Finally, I thought the staff were very helpful, positive and all spoke good English. The area and accommodation also seemed to attract a nice mix of people, from surfers to young families, who were all very friendly and up for a chat while watching the sunset. It’s a wonderfully peaceful place, so if you want to escape the crowds and truly unwind, I would highly recommend it.

The only two things I would say is the road is quite noisy in the mornings, and my room let a lot of light in due to there being no curtains for the top windows. I am being very picky though and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
