The beachfront and the hammock area. Also I liked that there is a ceiling fan in the room. Finally not only AC option but fan too.

The noise. As it is close to the main road from 6am it is impossible to sleep because of the super laud traffic. The room which is close to the restaurant might have less noise.

We loved our stay at Bolong Bolong. 1. The staff is super lovely, just so helpful everytime you need something 2. It's right by the beach, we already miss having our morning coffee under a palm tree looking out at the ocean 3. The restaurant has actually the BEST food in the area, maybe in all of Sumbawa. Salmon tacos and duck ramen? Yes please!! 4. Loved that the room had a desk.

Bring earplugs as its quite close to the main road :)

Balong balong is an amazing retreat in west sumbawa, very clean accommodation and breakfast included was amazing every day. The staff is super friendly, and really you cannot beat the location right on the beach!

Superbe emplacement, vue à couper le souffle sur l’océan ! Magnifique endroit au bord de la plage et à proximité du spot de surf. Mention spéciale pour le restaurant, nous nous sommes régalés ! Bravo.

Le logement était très bien mais il serait indispensable d’installer une moustiquaire dans la chambre, en raison des nombreux moustiques le soir et la nuit. Aussi aucunes planches de surf disponibles à la location car elles étaient semble-t-il toutes en réparation. Mais nous n’avions pas eu cette information à notre reservation et arrivée, dommage. Un conseil, venez avec votre planche de surf.

Very nice and beautiful location just a front of the ocean. Lovely view from restaurant. Cosy area, good food, amazing beach with white sands.

Problems with electricity, many times was off, even we couldn’t get shower, it was annoying a bit.

Location beautiful Food amazing

The location and food at Balong Balong is stunning. Sometimes places you book are average compared to the online photos but Balong Balong was the opposite. We were so impressed when we arrived and the views are breathtaking. The food at the restaurant was at the highest of standards. We tried a lot of restaurants in sumbawa but decided most nights to stay at the accommodation as the food was better!
