Landsborough Lane - Wanaka Holiday Studio

Very well set up Warm.

Location was fine as Wanaka was busy that weekend so it was quiet.

The Bed was really hard and the bath/shower set up was poor. The bath took forever to fill and the shower had no curtain to stop water going everywhere.

This was the fanciest place during our stay in New Zealand. Having the entire house for ourselves was nice. There was a nice terrace with great view. The place looked new and well equipped. We were particularly happy with the big kitchen.

The washing machine is not great (it is a top-loading model) and there is only a tiny drying rack that cannot hold a full load of laundry. That was a big downside for us given that we booked this accomodation specifically because we needed to do laundry. We would have appreciated a shower curtain around the bath tub. It was hard to take a shower without flooding the entire bathroom.

I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. There is no shower, which most people would consider a basic amenity—especially since it was listed on the booking. The bath’s handheld hose broke on our second day, and we were later told it has broken many times before, leaving us with a barely functioning way to wash ourselves. Additionally, the furniture was covered in animal hair, and there was no iron provided, forcing us to purchase one ourselves.

Outsanding location with amazing views. Comfortable bed and lots of seating both in & outside. Got lots of sunshine. Easy 15 min walk into town.

Internet code could be written on the small welcome pack l;eft in house rather than having to climb on a chair to read code off modem. Also could not download the property information from the emails sent before arrival.

Would have been 10 out of 10 if fully fenced for little dogs :-)

Clean tidy modern and warm with good view.

It was advertised as having a shower it does not!!!! It has a high sided bath with a shower hose you have to hold. This isn’t a shower it’s a bath. In a modern error this isn’t acceptable I have a shoulder disability and this made things very difficult. Please change description! My wife and I spoke about this on the plane home “ can’t wait to get back to have a shower”

Very clean apartment with full kitchen. Comfy king bed and nice deck with BBQ and a view.

The bath tub without a fixed shower head and glass/curtain to take a decent shower is a clear misconception of the builder. You need to kneel down in the tub and carefully use the shower handle not to flood the bathroom. Extremely inconvenient.
