Cottage in Bretforton, north of Cotswolds

A good kitchen, very large frig and easy washing machine. Large lounge room. I couldn’t find a clothes airer but big communal rotary clothes line out in beautiful rear garden. Huge rear car park. Easy Stairs to large bathroom with great storage and 2 bedrooms. Bed comfortable. Exceptional Host left a lovely generous Welcome Pack and was very helpful and obliging. Complex is absolutely lovely. Perfect place to stay for walking around stunning Bretforton which was our aim. The Fleece Inn is exceptional and close. The village shop nearby had everything to Self-Cater. All perfect.

Beds were tiny, if you’re heading towards 6ft you won’t fit! They were also not that comfortable for smaller people either

Really, there wasn’t anything!

We thought that this was one of the best accommodations we've stayed at in quite some time. We entered to find some treats awaiting us after a long drive to the Cotswolds and it got even better from there. There was a House book with a myriad of information - anything you could possibly need to know - comfortable furniture and just a perfect location. Walking distance to the Fleece Inn which we would also highly recommend. To be honest, we didn't want to review the property but rather keep it to ourselves but that wouldn't be fair.

The property was clean however the shower was leaking and the host accused us of staging a leak ??? we did not once ask for any form of refund, we would not have benefited from staging anything, the host is extremely defensive and rude.

We booked here for a week the property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, we then booked for the next week as we are working in the area, once the booking was confirmed we recieved a message from the owner saying the cleaner reported it was left in a state and she had to make two trips, we stop all over the world and have respect for all properties we stop in, after a few messages were exchanged he said there was rubbish left everywhere and not in the bin, which wasn't true, I asked if his cleaner took any photos of this but she never. The second week we stopped there the shower leaked into the living room, the owner came straight round to investigate whilst we were at work, and said we had turned the shower head the wrong way, I dont believe this was the case, there had obviously been a problem previously as there was a board on the living room ceiling right above the shower, if you do stop here I suggest taking before you check out. With regards to your comment about the rubbish - You could not supply any evidence of this, my colleagues stop all over the UK / Europe and would never leave any property full off rubbish, I found the host to be very rude and unprofessional, and would not recommend for this reason.

I would not recommend this property purely based on the host's attuide and continuous false accusations.

The location of the cottage was excellent as we wanted to visit the nearby Fleece Inn, Stratford and Tewkesbury. Off road parking was also very good.

There is no way to modify the central heating without contacting the owners of the property. They responded very quickly, however, once asked to change the times.

Great base from which to visit The Fleece Inn. Well equipped kitchen for our family get together. Comfy beds. We enjoyed our stay. There was a slight issue with the house being cold on our arrival, but the owner was easy to contact and promptly tried to resolve the issue. I looked around and realised the combi boiler had been switched off, so I was able to sort it.
