Riverwood Retreat - Self Contained Lux Apartment, Close to the Celtic Resort

Nice retreatand quute, highly recommend

kitchen was a little chilli but rest was lovely and warm and overall lovely place to stay.

A very lovely two bedroom property, with a well equipped kitchen, everything you need for your stay. Beautiful decor throughout the property, with a nice bathroom and good shower. A nice reading area, with a selection of books. Location for our trip was ideal, with easy access to the M4, good links to Newport, Cardiff and surrounding tourist destinations, situated In a nice quiet residential area. Wonderful to have such a variety of goodies left for our stay.

We liked everything! It’s close to the M4 but far enough away. It’s a lovely quiet location but has a pub/eatery close by. The kitchen had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. The bedrooms were lovely (I don’t usually sleep well away from home but slept soundly each night). Bathroom was great. The lounge area was perfect for us too as we sat up until late chewing the fat. They also have a stream running around the back of the property which is nice. The owners, Henry and Michaela were the nicest people too.

Second bedroom disappointing.

Clean, well arranged, all the instructions were clear. Have to appreciate all the personal touches in the apartment like they're was milk, biscuits etc. The apartment had everything you needed for a stay.

Beautifully decorated, well laid out, lovely garden with everything supplied that was needed including initial refreshments.

Nothing - it was great!

The house is more beautiful and has more space than it is presented in the pictures. The bed was so comfortable. It is in a quite area. The hosts were amazing; so helpful and so friendly, they made me feel like a guest in a friend's house.

Staying at Riverwood Retreat was only a stop-off for us on our way home from Cardiff, but was an experience in itself. The property is so welcoming, clean and comfortable and cereals and milk was provided for our breakfast which I didn't expect. The owner/hosts had clearly thought of everything to make our stay special! I am only sorry we weren't able to stay for longer! Thank you.
