Riverwood Retreat - Self Contained Lux Apartment, Close to the Celtic Resort

Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood - easy to get to from the M4 and a stone's throw away from Celtic Manor if you're keen on your golf. Apartment was clean and tidy, beds were comfy and hosts very welcoming. Enjoyed the stay here.

Although we never managed to cross paths, the hosts were responsive and obliging: they accommodated our requested arrival time and were prompt in responding to my queries. The kitchen was well-equipped, with an oven, choice of pans, cafetiere and a good selection of implements. It was stocked with salt and pepper, tea, instant coffee, washing-up liquid, etc. The biscuits and individual boxes of cereal were a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. We enjoyed sitting in the late afternoon sunshine in "our" little garden.

I would have appreciated a really sharp knife - or a knife sharpener.

We loved the decor of the apartment. It was beautifully furnished, very homely and very well equipped. The bed was very comfy and it was located in a lovely area.
