Stylish maisonette in town centre close to beach

The beds was so comfortable. The place was very modern and clean. The town of an evening is absolutely fantastic had the best time. Location is spot on absolutely perfect.

It could do with a little air freshener I could really smell food type smell every time I walked in.

The apartment was stylish, comfortable and uncluttered . Liked the Japanese styled decor. It was spacious for two, had a good sized kitchen well equipped with all the basics ( except no jugs of any kind !) and a simple modern dining area for four. The bedrooms were clean & comfortable . The shower room was clean and a decent size and it was useful to have a downstairs toilet. Parking was no problem. Although we were near the town centre it was quiet & only a 15 min walk to the sea front. We didn’t meet any staff but were kept informed by text and emails . Felt a bit impersonal.

Sloping ceilings in the bedrooms , and a couple of steps down into one . Steps up to the apartment were a long flight but that was the nature of an old high ceilinged building . The shared entrance to the building was scruffy with litter around , a bit off putting when we arrived.

A really lovely apartment with loads of space and everything you could need. Just a very short walk to the centre of town, and the main street down to the sea front. Great communications via text and email explaining everything. I'm sure we'll be back!

* wasn't clear from the description that this was an apartment over two floors, on the first and second floors, with significantly more than the average 13 steps to reach each floor (21 and 17 steps). You had to dig deep into the Q&As to even get this was over 2 floors. This meant my very elderly mother was limited to one entry and exit a day, completely changing all our plans. No evenings out possible * being asked to pay £25 for breakages you're unlikely to make, just to avoid the £250 deposit for breakages that you risk not being paid back. First time in over 90 countries I have visited that I have been asked to do this * check in not allowed till 4pm, unlike most hotels being 2pm or 3pm. I opted to pay the £25 for a 2hr earlier check in, only to be told it was not possible. This was despite being offered a special deal if I wanted to come a day earlier because they had no booking for that night * with the bedrooms being in the eaves, during a hot week, we had to have the windows open. This meant we were disturbed all three nights by the loud revellers who gathered in the park opposite every night, till the early hours - 2-3am. They got so aggressive, the police had to come out on the final night (I even video'd them in case they needed evidence!). This meant we were left really tired each day * no non-slip mat in the shower. When we raised this and concerns for my mother's safety, we were advised one would be delivered. They simply came and left an extra floor mat instead. Better than nothing but far from ideal. Thank goodness we brought our own shower stool for mum * having parked in the only spare slot on the designated gravel on the first night, we got boxed in by a resident (photo taken) and had to wait for someone else to move their car and carefully manoeuvre around them to get out

Location was excellent. Close to shops and pubs. 5 minute walk to seafront, bars and entertainment.

Very nice property with good facilities and everything we needed for a week. Very spacious and modern.

Location to town centre,and location is quiet. No drug dealers or tramps

Could deal with the stairs very well. I usually stay where there’s a lift . But that comes with old age.
