Host was excellent and flexible with check-in/out times. Nice front porch seating area. Quaint historic old charm. Nice sized flat screen TV with streaming services. Washer and dryer was available. All in all everything was functional and we enjoyed the stay.

Would be nice if the ice maker in the refrigerator worked. It had dishes and a coffee maker but no coffee. Some coffee, creamer, and sweetener would be a nice touch. The blinds were not long enough to cover the bottom 6 inches of the windows. I think they should have been mounted six inches lower so the bottom of the windows can be covered. Could use some additional seating in the living room and night stands and lamps in the two bedrooms. We had two couples staying there, but only had three bath towels for the bathroom. Some decorations/pictures would be nice.

"Quiet, spacious accommodations for 2 couples."

10.0

Rooms were spacious and clean. Covered porch with view of lovely tree/garden area. Off street parking for our car. Coffee shops and food nearby. Easy to get to areas of NOLA we wanted to visit. Good communication with host Allen before visit and upon arrival.

Getting the tub tap on was no problem; figuring out to get the water to come out of the shower head took a little work.

Close proximity to everything I needed. I liked the privacy.

TV in the bedrooms. More comfortable seating. The loveseat is dated and the stools are very uncomfortable and left temporary markings on our lower extremities. There was no place to sit and eat. We weren’t aware that we should bring towels. If there were some, they weren’t easily accessible and instructions on where they were wasn’t provided. The blinds on the window are too short. That posed a concern to a group of females visiting an unfamiliar area. Overall, it was okay for a one night stay, but it could definitely use some decoration.
