Miami Gardens Comfort Suite by Hard Rock Stadium

Small self-contained unit attached to the host's house. Exactly what we expected. Parking at front, a comfortable bed, basic utilities and supplies in the kitchen, toiletries, air conditioning. Clean. Small private yard to the rear. Perfect location to walk to the Hard Rock stadium for an event - was there in 20 minutes on foot, past all the queued traffic. Found the area very safe (unlike some other reviews). Good communication. Good value.

It's basic, and in a quiet residential area (that could be a positive too). Perfect as a base to travel elsewhere in the city, or as we did, to get to the stadium. We knew we weren't booking a luxury hotel. It was good for the purpose. Some reviews mentioned bugs - there were a couple of ants next to the door, but remember this is an apartment with a lawn and garden in south Florida, of course there are bugs in the garden. Nothing unusual. And the apartment was well cleaned for our arrival. For the purpose and budget, no complaints.

I liked it that I was in a small apartment. I loved that it was pet friendly and they provided a tiny back porch/mini backyard for my dogs and with artificial grass.

I didn’t like the fact that when I got there, I took off my shoes and about three hours later after walking around barefoot my feet were black and that told me that they do not mop in there. I sat on the toilet and something invisible was biting my legs from my knees to my feet. Not sure it would be sand fleas however it might have been a regular fleas because it is a pet friendly establishment. I didn’t like that there was no broom or dustpan so I could sweep up after my couple nights of stay. They expect you to keep it clean, do your dishes, take out your trash, however, it was impossible to put our trash in the trashcan because apparently the duplex style apartment we stayed in the owner. It was right next-door and doing yardwork both days that I was there and had the outside trashcan overflowing, so there was nowhere to put my trash bags. We had several trash bags because there were three adults who stayed and he was aware of that. Also, I had to call on day number two and ask for a bath towels and washcloths and a trash bag because nothing is provided. When you stay or rent an apartment for a couple of days you expect they would at least come around to bring linen and bath towels. So there were inconveniences for sure.

Nem cheguei a conhecer, pois o anfitrião cancelou nossa reserva quando estávamos chegando. Era quase 5p.m. Chovia em Miami e nos perdidos, sem ter onde dormir e carro cheio! Tivemos que pagar caro em outra acomodação em cima da hora.

Location is in close proximity to the hard rock stadium if you don't mind walking in an area that is not the safest

DONT DO IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT! The owner is running a scam. Did not inform me that the unit would not be ready by 4pm,. When I arrived around 730 it was still not ready and the owner said he was cleaning it and it would be ready in 10 min. By 8pm or a little after, it was still not ready according to the owner. I spoke to booking.com and they could care less. They claimed they were assisting me and sent me info to a new rental in the area. After booking that rental I was informed by the owner of the new place that they had informed booking.com that they were not taking reservations due to repairs . So now I have paid for two places but have nowhere to stay. The owner of the first place who claimed his rental was not clean or ready had a new renter walking into the place 15min max after booking.com canceled my reservation. I know because I was still sitting in his driveway trying to figure out where to stay. The owner was rude, belligerent and just not nice at all. This is a duplex with the owner living on one side and renting out the other. He is running a scam with the name of the property trying to imply that it is a hotel when it is not. The house and property looks terrible from the outside. I never saw the inside. The owner has been padding his reviews but if you read through more of them you will see it's the same story over and over, room not ready/clean, problems with the owner, etc. It seems like he is taking the highest bidder and kicking people to the curb by claiming it's not ready when someone else will pay more. Dishonest to say the least. And booking.com is well aware of it. They tied up 600+$ on my card, would offer no refund in the moment, even on the property they sent me a reservation link to that they already knew could not and would not take or honor reservations. You will regret renting this property. And you will regret renting through booking.com
