Gzira's Seashore Stayaway close to Manuel Island

This apartment is in a great location. It has a sea view and there are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop nearby. It’s also a ten minute walk from the ferries. It’s very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay.

The shower head keeps sliding down the pole and the shower cubicle is quite small. I managed as an average sized 164cm tall woman, but a bigger person might struggle. The soft furnishings need cleaning.

We rented a really nice apartment on the second floor with a balcony facing Manoel Island and surrounding the island bay. The apartment was equipped with everything you need for a short and long term stay. There are grocery shops near by and quite a lot restaurants with various cuisines so everyone will find something tasty. Silema Ferry is located within 15 minutes walking and it is a perfect way to get to Valletta. Near Silema Ferry there are various boat rental offices where you can buy a trip to the Crystal Lagoon & the Blue Lagoon.

Broken shower head/pipe, which takes less than 5 minutes to replace it. Broken bathroom door frame (top part) which fell off the wall. Splitting bed in the bedroom, again it would take 5 minutes to fix it using some wood glue.

The zone and the view

Upon arrival, we opened the fridge to drink some "courtesy" water that ALL the accommodations we've ever stayed in always provide. Instead of water, we were greeted by an exclusive and penetrating aroma of street-market fish on a summer day. An unexpected sensory detail, without a doubt. After walking around the area and procuring some supplies, we "went for a coffee." We approached the machine, which, in EVERY place we have ever visited, comes with—forgive the obviousness—coffee capsules... but with no success. There wasn't a single capsule. It will come as no surprise, after this, that there was also no shampoo for our hair... but the final discovery came when it was time to wash our travel clothes (having chosen this accommodation partly for the available washer and dryer). What happened? It's easy to imagine: unlike ALL the other accommodations we've stayed in that had a washer, this one did not provide any necessary supplies. The unique fragrance of the fridge was complemented by a distinct sewer note from the bathroom. The sofa and curtains had several stains. The conclusion is simple: the price was "boutique luxury," but the experience was closer to "urban survival camp." You can fully enjoy it by bringing a well-stocked "survival kit." If you book well in advance, you will find more economical alternatives and, more importantly, ones that include tangible objects like coffee and an environment free of uninvited aromas. In short, THE VIEW IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Apartament dość przyjemny. Zadbany, czysty. Kuchnia wyposażona we wszystko co potrzebne. Widok z balkonu relaksujący chodź balkon tak wąski że nie mieszczą się krzesła. Ruch uliczny w niczym nie przeszkadzał, klimatyzacja w pożądku.

W pierwszej nocy po przyjeżdzie włączył sie alarm windy, którą dostawaliśmy się codziennie do apartamentu. Dzwięk powodujący ból głowy tego alarmu trwał przez 4 doby naszego pobytu. Alarm wył, piszczał nieustannie, dzień i noc. Nie szło spać, odpocząć, nic. Pisaliśmy do gospodarza na booking i na WhatsApp. Niestety zero odpowiedzi, zero reakcji, zero powocy.

Bardzo Dobra lokalizacja, klimatyzacja w apartamencie , winda bezpośrednio do apartamentu.

Przez 3 doby w windzie wył alarm (dzień i noc) Brak kontaktu oraz pomocy ze strony personelu.

Lack of communication (ignorance) regarding the elevator, which was making loud alert-type sound during day and night throughout our entire stay. The behavior of the host was very unprofessional because of no updates. After 5 nights, we were more tired than before the stay. What's more, the entry to the apartment is through the elevator directly, which made us feel unsafe.

Ubicación y cumplía.

Tenía la ducha rota avisado desde el 1 día y nada. Los electrodomésticos eran de enchufe 2 y no tenía adaptadores (plancha, secador, tostadora, etc). La televisión no estaba conectada a antena por lo que era inservible. Y todavía estoy esperando a que me contesten a las mensajes WhatsApp que envié el primer día.
