Gzira's Seashore Stayaway close to Manuel Island

The apartment was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and the location suited us very well.

Excellent location. Lounge and bedroom were light and spacious.

It was very disappointing that we couldn’t get anything to watch on the television.

The apartment is quite modern, and overall, everything essential was there: a washer with a dryer, a decent fridge, a bed, etc. When we asked for a clothes drying rack, the host arranged one for us. The location is good, though far from the beach. There’s a lot around, making it fairly convenient. Hair dryer, iron, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, everything is there.

A very small balcony. It needs more optimized furniture; otherwise, there’s no space to move around. Parking can be found, but within a 5-minute walk. It’s always quite crowded near the entrance. The apartment didn’t have any sponges, soap, kitchen towels, or anything like that. The clock and candle had dead batteries. We had to buy and replace everything ourselves. We asked for a proper frying pan, the owner seemed to promise one, but never delivered. A slightly more complicated waste disposal system. You can’t just throw it out; you have to get up at 7 a.m. on designated days to get rid of it. There were no pillowcases, so you are to wash the entire pillow, I guess.

Good view and close to ferries and buses

We, and the taxi driver had problems fining the exact entry door, the brochure contain details of how to enter was inside the property and the pin (3 were mailed to me) were wrong. I had to phone manager for assistance. I recommend that a copy of the brochure be mailed to Prospective renters. I reported unserviceable kettle and broken clock but no action was taken

Great location, central with easy access to restaurants and public transport, including ferries. Comfortable accommodation with a little balcony. Very clean with lots of kitchen utensils available.

Balcony only had room for one chair, so couldn't sit out in the evening as a couple. Could only find music on TV, no actual programmes but that could be our lack of knowledge.

Location couldn't be beaten for us. Close to bars, restaurants and ferries to Valleta. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Little balcony was invaluable as we love to sit out and have breakfast. Even managed to park close each day.

TV did not work and the lift opens directly into house, a little worrying if intruder wanted to get in. Street door left open by other residents most days. No window in bedroom.

The apartment is in a very good position for walking along the quay from Sliema to San Julian, close to city bus lines for getting around the island as well as the ferry to Valletta. In the immediate vicinity there are many excellent restaurants with something for everyone's taste and budget. We were accommodated in an apartment on the fourth floor, which we recommend because of the view of Valletta and less noise from the street. The apartment is clean, comfortable and equipped with the necessary things for a stay. The owner Mathew was available for all our needs
