Good facilities and location

Poor arrangements for checking in. Agent wasn’t where the information provided indicated. Had to chase up by phone. A key pad lock box would avoid these hassles.

It was fairly huge- easily fit four people. The bathroom was massive and very clean. Lived that it had a washer/dryer combo. Lynda was my favorite host, kind and most helpful (loved her accent ) such a gem!

The address has got to say Banchory, apparently 30 minutes away is where Google drops you. Be careful on finding Watson street in Banchory.

Everything you could possibly need for a short stay was there, the property was very clean and very close to the main street, the host was very helpful and arrival and departure were very easy, would definitely recommend.

We had NO heating or HOT water for the whole stay. The handover was difficult finding the key safe ,after we had been delayed 2 hours entry to the flat by the owner having been told we would be met by the property manager Lynda Donald ( who we never saw). We had been travelling all day ( almost 400 miles) .Contact with the owner was difficult and didn’t resolve the hot water issues even though my husband spent over 20 minutes checking things with the boiler, water pressure in the taps, thermostats whilst talking to the owner by phone on our arrival. We were assured an engineer would come round the next day. This did not happen. For the rest of our stay we had no contact with the owner, no hot water, no heating: consequently we had to wash with boiled water from the kettle : ie . no shower/ bath for three days.
