Charming Herefordshire Retreat, Parking & Garden

Cleanliness was exceptional. Quiet area. Lounge furniture comfortable. Bed mattress comfortable. Opening windows (some have been locked in some places we have visited making rooms suffocating)

Cleaning products smell on linen caused problems with my nose. The food basket wasn't there....perhaps you only get it if you order breakfast? but then why does it contain alcohol? We were hoping, after our long 8 hour journey to Leominster for my fathers funeral that there would be something to snack on before bed. It has been the norm everywhere else we have stayed, some bread, some milk, some fruit, biscuits and alcohol without paying extra. Heating hard to control comfortably. Beds though comfortable the pillows were so thin and lumpy. Bed only 8 inches off the ground...not good for sore hips and knees. Bedrooms a little cramped when travelling with 3 weeks luggage and funiture positioned to bang into in the night.

Location was OK although this picture is very misleading as wA on a housing estate overlooked by lots of houses

3 bedrooms although bedsvery low and kitchen small. Beds very low and they wanted to charge extra £20 to stay until 11am on last day even though property empty for next 3 days - we checked! Shower not hot and very boiler noisey in bedrooms also only enough for one shower / bath.

Beds were a bit low down for grandparents

Nice house in a quiet location.

The shower didn't heat up, and we followed the instructions supplied. Bits of rubbish like the biscuit wrappers not picked up from under the bedside cabinets. The conservatory door was left unlocked before we got to the property. We checked the doors when closing the blinds before heading to bed and noticed that it was left unlocked. My son found a vape in between the long sofa cushions when he dropped his uno cards. Luckily, we saw him before he did anything further with it.

It's was a clean well equipped house. The access arrangements were easy to follow and the booking was well managed. The welcome basket with a few essentials like tea bags was a handy touch.

The 2 double beds were both very low from the ground which when travelling with elderly parents was a challenge. One of the off street car parking spaces was also narrow for a family car.

Nice kitchen, dining area and sun lounge. Good off road parking.

The beds were almost on the floor and were not very comfortable. The second bedroom was very small. The pillows were almost flat and the three piece suite only had two cushions.
