Incredible location on the river. The room is comfortable and considering it was 40° when we stayed it was surprisingly cool, with an excellent fan provided for additional comfort. Fabulous breakfast provided on the terrace with beautiful views of the river. We would highly recommend eating in the bar and sampling some of Chris's amazing beers. James and Chris are great hosts and make you feel very welcome.

Brasseurs Du Pont is a beautiful. microbrewery/restaurant/hotel in an excellent riverside location. Great breakfast with a view of the river and the friendly owner's attention to detail was much appreciated. Room was modern and had everything you need, a good fan and a coffee machine. A big advantages is that the rooms are under the main building so they stay nice and cool, very handy on hot days. Highly recommended!

Nothing springs to mind

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, over looking the Dordogne river,the rooms are very clean & comfortable. I have stayed here a few times now and highly recommend it for long or short stays. The restaurant is perfect for an evening meal.

It's just a small thing, I found the breakfast to be a bit repetitive, with yogurt and pastries which was very nice. In my opinion but probably not everyones, it would be good to have a change every other day, maybe have boiled eggs, ham with toast as an option.

Hôtel idéalement bien situé pour visiter le Périgord Noir. Tout est parfait, chambre, salle de bain, petit déjeuné. Restaurant charmant , jolie terrasse au dessus de la Dordogne, repas et bières excellents Chris très accueillant et bienveillant,

Could not find any fault with the location, 10/10. It is located right on the river Dordogne, with idyllic views. We had the amazing breakfast every morning which was made with local produce. There are lots of activities and supermarket about 5mins walk. They have a micro brewery as well as a restaurant, both the food and the beer was excellent. Chris and James were absoutely fantastic, the perfect hosts who really went the extra mile. They have built an amazing life for themselves in the town and make everyone who stays there feel like a part of the community.

The stay was perfect, the only watch out for anyone who stays is that it's best to have a car if you're staying in the area as there aren't so many taxi services available.

Personnel souriant

La chambre sous la terrasse du restaurant extrêmement bruyante, on entend tout jusqu'à plus de 22h, pas de ventilation dans la salle de bain donc humidité constante, pas de clim, pas de télévision. De plus on a été prévenu 4 jours avant que le restaurant était fermé le dimanche soir pour une soirée privée sans possibilité d'annulation sans frais, et bien sûr la soirée privée entre garçons déguisés en grecs de Mykonos, se déroulait dans le jardin devant notre chambre jusqu'à 22h30 avec la musique à fond et des garçons qui gloussaient bruyamment. En gros un weekend à oublier avec le petit-déjeuner à 12.5 euros constitué d'un café, d'un verre de mauvais jus d'orange,de viennoiseries surgelées. Une vraie blague tout le weekend qui a commencée à l'arrivée par un gars qui voulait nous placer au restaurant alors que l'on demandait la clef de notre chambre !!!

A beautiful location. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed dinner on the terrace with a beautiful view of the river. The menu offered British style foods. There was a variety of choice & we ate there both evenings and enjoyed it. Breakfast was substantial and continental style. Locally resourced food was offered. The room was comfortable with a small terrace overlooking the garden, right by the riverside.
