Casalulù Holiday Home - 2 Independent Apartments Sorrento Coast

I liked everything about this place. We rented both apartments and we all enjoyed out stay. Excellent location near the train and bus station and also near a park with a great view to Vesuviu and well equipped kitchen. The apartment has everything one needs to live there even longterm and most important: very clean and has mosquito nets so you can keep the windows open at night! Michela was the nicest and most helpful host you can expect. After we left, we realized we forgot a charger and she was kind enough to send it by post at no cost for us. We were also expected with small snacks and pasta to cook. You can hear a bit the train passing under the terrain/rock the building stays on but it's not that noticeable and it didn't bother our sleep at all.

This apartment is absolutely adorable. Michaela and Luigi were wonderful, provided dining options, and Luigi even picked us up at the train station. Vico Equense is a perfect location! Beautiful on its own, an easy train ride to Sorrento or Pompeii, but away from the crowds of those cities. Dining is fabulous as well. Definitely recommend!

The apartments were very clean and very convenient for the train and bus stations and for visiting pompeii, vesuvius, boat trips to capri etc. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby , we recommend the University of Pizza - very popular, so be prepared to wait for a table, especially on a Saturday night when the locals fill the place. The hosts were very friendly and gave lots of information on arrival and beforehand and recommeding tours. They met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the town.

We thought this was a 2 bedroomed apartment, but it was 2 bedsits with cooking areas and no real communal space to sit in. One bedsit had a small balcony with views over the town to the sea, the other only 2 windows looking out onto internal walls. It would be difficult to cook an evening meal, but preparing breakfast and lunch was fine.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is very comfortable, especially for a small group of friends or bigger family. The location and an availability of parking is super convenient. The furniture and the appliances are new and one literally can find everything one can need - from coffee machine and coffee to an additional bed and sheets for a child.

Your hosts at Casalulu are exceptional. From before our arrival, to throughout our stay, Luigi and family were always only a message away (and very responsive). The location of the apartments is superb, easy reach of cafés, restaurants, shops and the train to Sorrento is only a few minutes walk down the hill. The views are breathtaking over the gulf of Naples. Free parking also provided, yes a short walk away but you soon realise how much parking in this area of Italy is at a premium... plus to have it secured away from the Naples drivers is a relief. We loved our stay in Vico Equense!

The apartment is newly renovated with a blue and white theme that's brilliant for its location. We stayed in winter but I'd imagine a sunnier weather would have made the apartments and views look even better. Luigi is friendly and helpful. He helped us with our enquiries and arranged a transfer to Bomerano for our Path of the Gods hike. We had a issue with one of the showers and he was very prompt in looking into the problem. We chose Vico Equense because we wanted a quieter place than Sorrento and yet offers all the conveniences. There's plenty of restaurants nearby and a supermarket. We used it as a base to travel to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast.

Nothing much except more places to hang clothes and other knives besides butter knife.
