Stylish Valletta 2 bedroom City Centre Apartment with Terrace and Views

The only positive aspect of this apartment is its location — it is close to major attractions and public transport. Unfortunately, that’s where the good things end.

I don’t even know where to begin — whether it’s the extremely strong, unpleasant smell in one of the rooms (resembling the odor of feet), or the overall poor maintenance and lack of proper cleaning. The extra bed was broken — the slats of the frame were falling apart, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on as it created a dip in the mattress. There were stains everywhere — on the bed sheets, as well as on the tiles and walls. We were relieved that we stayed for only one night. I honestly cannot believe that the host finds it acceptable to accommodate guests in such conditions.

Everything was nice

Location

In my opinion its a damp, cold apartment that is not what I would call stylish. The twin beds have broken springs so are extremely uncomfortable. The entrance is difficult to navigate & the stairs are steep up to the flat so not suitable for anyone with even a slight mobility issue. The shower has no real power (although water was warm) & the toilet flushes poorly. We also checked in at 3pm and had to wait over 20 minutes for the cleaners to finish cleaning & leave.
